Project Description

Illusion

PIASILEC

Overview

The collection was inspired by the 1960s and the OP-ART movement. Through linear patterns and rounded silhouettes, it creates optical illusions on the body. Each look is the result of exploring body shapes and the perception of organic lines that intertwine with various color transitions.

Rather than presenting the garment as a fixed object, the work focuses on how the eye reads shape, volume, and contrast. The collection asks how clothing can suggest movement, reflection, and transformation before the viewer fully understands what they are seeing.
